Small but mighty!

This bright and unique batik quilt is worked in the log cabin pattern and is made from the smallest pieces of fabric from my studio. By using both batiks and working on a very small scale, this log cabin is exceptionally eye-catching and a fun conversation piece. Named after the Boneyard Creek which winds its way through Champaign and Urbana, Illinois, this quilt and the creek are both small but but made to last. The back of the quilt (also pictured) contains various larger batik pieces which adds more fun to this piece. The quilt front is machine-pieced, with quilting also done by machine in the quilt in the ditch method. The batting is 100% unbleached cotton, giving this piece a smooth feel. This quilt has been finished with the flip and stitch method (no binding), with a triple seam securing the edges, the detail on this is pictured above.

This piece measures 21 1/2" x 21 1/2".

This quilt brightens up any space and would look great displayed on a wall, table, or over a chair.

This quilt may be washed on cold and dried on low-heat and has already been pre-washed for you. This was made in a smoke-free home. Our home is animal-friendly, but the studio where this was made is a pet-free zone.
