If you are contemplating this one...Good on you! Set 3 combines five gloriously colourful shisha inspired bracelets of polymer, mirrors and brass made to be worn the way a Nepali woman wears bracelets!!! The more the merrier. Shisha means "glass" and describes the mirrorwork of Persian embriodery which was embraced wholeheartedly and delightedly all over the Indian sub continent. We have so much fun making these bracelets which were taught to us by Cynthia Tinapple of Polymerclaydaily when she came and spent time with us in Nepal.

These bracelets combine polymer and tiny mirrors prepared in "embroidered" sheets which are then set on brass forms. Set 3 is almost enough by Nepali standards but you'll want one set for each arm to really jingle as you shimmy! Each bracelet is 0.8 cm (5/16" ) wide and is unique. The designs on each bracelet vary. The bracelets are 6.7 cm (2.63" ) in diameter and fit average wrists. Shimmy on girl.

As with all our jewellery, all the proceeds from the purchase of this necklace go directly to the women of Samunnat Nepal who are making their art with love and hope to escape lives of vulnerability and violence. Read more about our story on www.acolourfuljourney.com
