Absolutely incredible, this dress gives me butterflies!

Vintage 1950s Carolyn Schnurer black & white windowpane dress. Cotton material is thick & strong. Skirt has small pleats around waist, creating an extra full silhouette. Sleeveless bodice is boned for a corset-like structure. Built in shawl connects to the back of bodice, and can either be worn slung over arms, or tied in back to keep it in place. Cherry red cotton detailing - buttons up the front, trim across the bodice, and backing of the shawl. A complete show stopper, this is a piece to be treasured for years & years to come.

"Designed by Carolyn Schnurer for you! Wrinkl-shed, it's a Dan River fabric"

Fits a modern small. Please see measurements to be sure!
Bust: 34"
Waist: 26"
Hip: full
Length: 42"
Dimensions of shawl: 12" x 100"

Great condition. I wanted to call it excellent, but there are a few spots:( Must be from storage, but there are a few pale yellow streaks running vertically down the skirt. They are hard to notice, because the windowpane print plays tricks on your eyes. (My head is actually spinning from finding them in the first place!) There is one tiny rusty looking spot near edge of hem. We have not attempted to remove the spots, so perhaps a bit of TLC will get them out.

Otherwise, material is super strong & bright. No holes or flaws. Regardless of the faint streaks, this is a fantastic piece, and will be absolutely adored by any '50s loving gal.
