PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for the first installment! For this gown I will require a non-refundable deposit of $325 to secure the order with two balance payments of $325 each plus shipping due with the final payment for a total of $975 plus shipping. This gown will not ship until all payments have been made.

Yes, my version costs more than others on etsy. However the quality difference speaks for itself. I also do this full-time. This is not a hobby that I occasionally make money on. You will not receive a hastily-made, poorly-constructed garment with uneven hems. You will receive a professionally-made, properly-finished, couture-constructed gown made to last. And, as the silks are all pre-washed and then dyed, your gown can be hand-washed instead of dry-cleaned!

These photos were taken during a very brief break in the rain, and so I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to finish ironing. Well, such is life in Oregon. I wanted to use natural lighting to try getting the most true-to-life color in my photos, and a few wrinkles was a sacrifice I had to make. Also the bust of the wearer is larger than the dress form's bust, so that is why it appears loose in the bust.

This gown is as delicious as ribbon candy and fluffy as taffy! All the fabrics for this gown are bought white and then hand-dyed by me. Notice the sash layers are both two-toned, as in the film! This gown was made without a train for ease of movement and because no one looks where they're walking anymore and step on trains quite often. A train can be made upon request.

The bodice is creamy silk with an overlay of lace trimmed with pearls, either glass or freshwater. Over this is a layer of soft lavender chiffon with kimono-style sleeves with an inner sash of lilac. The film version is straight cut, but this one was made rounder as a design preference.

The gorgeous skirt consists of five layers of silk, beginning with creamy china silk. Over this is a layer of silk chiffon dyed light purple, lighter at the top and darker as it goes down in what is known as hombre dying. Over this is a layer of cream silk chiffon a couple inches shorter than the one under it to allow a peak of color. Next is the first of two split layers, dyed light pink just at the edges, and then the topmost layer, another split layer, again a couple inches shorter. A sash of pale pink with flowing tails finishes the gown. This gown closes in the back with a large hook and eye under the silk chiffon rose.

The price listed is for silk with Swarovski glass pearls. For genuine pearls, $30 will be added to the price. For a train, $75 will be added to cover the additional fabric.

SIZING: After you decide to make a purchase, I will contact you with measurements I need to make the gown. ALL gowns will involve a contract with measurements, ship-by date, shipping address, etc., for your protection as well as mine.

TIME: Please contact me. When my schedule is more open, this item can be made in as few as a couple weeks, and sometimes as long as twelve weeks. I am never in a position where I have no commissions scheduled. So please contact me PRIOR to purchase for a date, which will go into the above-mentioned contract.

SHIPPING INFORMATION: I DO ship internationally. Please convo me directly for international rates. All shipping is by UPS.

PAYMENT INFORMATION: I accept Square for payments. An invoice will be sent to you from from Square Invoicing with payment instructions, AFTER all sizing information is received and details are agreed upon. While payment isn't made the very second you order, it is much more secure than Paypal. By paying with a credit or debit card, you are protected and still have the right to file disputes, only with your card-issuer directly. Paypal also requires that good be delivered within 21 days, which is simply not alway possible when something is custom-made and will take longer than 21 days to produce and ship.

When purchasing, please check the "other" checkbox and an invoice will be sent directly to you. Thank you!
