A collection of vintage knitting patterns to make knitted bows and petal shapes that were all the rage in the 1930's and 40's, perfect for dressing up that old frock or sweater, adding new life to your hat! Today they can be made into hair bands, fascinators, cuffs for sweaters and additions to your accessories.

One pattern gives instructions to make "double-faced" bows - these look like stocking stitch on both sides of the fabric.

Here there are 5 patterns to make a variety of bows, a net fall, lappets or petal shapes to combine into different combinations.(See the cover photo)
I have knitted these myself to show you how they look in different yarns.

This is a compilation of vintage patterns booklet .. with re-written and tested patterns to ensure satisfaction when making the items.

I have added my own photographs to show the finished accessories.
