Great example of the famous Red Orange Flame Descoware. Made in Belgium, although it was originally manufactured in France (Bruxelles Ware). This enamelware (porcelain over cast iron) is a precursor of the famous Le Creuset, which by the 1970s had purchased Descoware. Not only is this brand beautiful, but it is also great to cook with; Julia Child was a big fan and used it on her cooking show in the 1960s.

Casserole has the signature flame orange enamel exterior with white enamel interior. Interior is divided into three sections to roast different vegetables at the same time. Casserole is in good vintage condition but for minor chips to the inside enamel (Picture #3) and to the corner of both handles. Interior is in good condition with little wear.

Pan measures 9" diameter and stands 2" tall. Marked on bottom 22 logo Made in Belgium. lid is also marked Made in Belgium.
