This is a really lovely vintage, retro wedding dress I believe from the 1960's. Approximate Measurements: waist 26", bust at underarn 32", hip open, waist to bottom of hem 34", sleeve 22".
The bodice is lace and fully lined, the sleeves are not lined and are finished with 6 pearl buttons that open, the neckline is round and slighty dropped. The back neckline is a vee. The back opens with a zipper and also has pearl buttons that button. The front of the bodice is trimmed with sequins and pearls. The skirt is full and made of tulle, the waist is slightly dropped so the style is slimming because the gathering does not begin at the natural waistline. I don't know the term for the hemline finish, but there is a curly wire at the edge and makes the hem a little ruffily. The skirt is fully lined with taffeta. The white color of the dress is not a bright white, nor an ivory, somehere in between but more white than ivory. There is also a headpiece that is very pretty trimmed with sequins and pearls. The headpiece has no tulle, it would be easy to add some if you want it to be a veil. The dress has been worn but is in great condition, the ony spot I could find was on the inside of the front bodice lining, a tiny spot of lipstick. I appologize for my photos, I have waited through our Calif. gloomy weather to get some sunny pictures and couldn't wait any longer. If you are interested enough in the dress I would try for some better pitures of the full length shot, just email me.
