The gold honeycomb pattern of the head of the bug will change to green in bright light. This is due to the nature of dichroic glass when the sun is on it. Wow! The body is a deep purple. It measures 1 1/2"x3/4". It's flexible wire legs are securely fused into the glass body. Attach one or several at eye level to keep people from walking into your screen door. The bright colors show up under many lighting conditions and make it pretty as well as functional. The flexible wire legs make it fun to pose and easy to attach to your screen, flower pot or standing on a table.

Each creature is individually designed and crafted. The process used to create these bugs involves selecting and cutting the glasses, fusing to 1700º in a high fire kiln, grinding each bug for the correct shape on a diamond bit grinder and firing again to give it a smooth, finished appearance.
