Blue Deer (Kauyumari): The most sacred deity in Wixárika culture, representing the "Elder Brother" who guides the people toward spiritual knowledge.
Peyoteros: Pilgrims who travel hundreds of miles to the sacred desert of Wirikuta to gather peyote.
Sacred sites: Specifically refers to Wirikuta, the place where the sun was born and where the ancestors reside.
Offerings: These include candles, ritual arrows, and jícaras used to ask the gods for health, rain, and good harvests.
