SUBJECT: Full disclosure: five photos don't do this marvelous metal horse justice. I could have taken hundreds of shots of him because he is that photogenic. This fine mid-century metal bas-relief horse head measures 9.25 inches tall x 7.25 inches wide x 2.5 inches deep. He looks to be a hunter of good breeding, and he's wearing a bridle with a Pelham bit. I've left him just as I found him, toned, worn and aged in ways that can't be replicated. It's time that has given him his incredible character, as only time can. What a beauty he is.
ITEM DETAILS: This vintage mid-century horse head is made from cast aluminum (I think) and finished with black enamel paint. He weighs 1.4 pounds and has no cracks, chip, or breaks, but shows customary wear to his paint. The number 7040 appears on the reverse side of the piece, up near his mane.
