This beautiful modern vase was designed by Einar Johansen for Soholm, Bornholm ceramic factory, as a part of his "blue series". The vase has two contrasting surfaces - neck is semi-matt, while bottom part glossy with deep brown underglaze and blue overglaze over the triangular indented patterns.

This is a truly beautiful and also highly collectible piece. On the third photograph shown with a candle holder from the same series.
