I have been knitting some really pretty wristwarmers over the last couple of years which prove so popular that I never get the chance to list them in the shop! They keep fingers free to use the computer or to craft! Perfect to wear for yoga I am told and driving. They are so soft and snuggly to wear and should keep your hands cosy warm.

I have designed and knit these wristwarmers in Diamond lace to commemerate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee (60 years) which is being celebrated this year.

They are knitted with a Sapphire blue blend of 55% Milk fiber / 45% Egyptian cotton babysoft DK yarn which is incredibly soft in texture. I have used a Diamond Lace stitch and single rib at the wrists and cuffs to give a snugger fit. However cotton yarns do tend to knit fairly loosely and the cuffs are not very stretchy as rib tends to be. They measure 8" in length from cuff to top and 4" across the hand. They will fit an average size medium woman's or teenagers hand.

They are my own design and each pair is slightly different.

I recommend handwashing and drying flat but the band suggests the yarn can be machine washed and tumble dried on gentle settings.
