Original 1880s cabinet card showing a group of young men posing with a human
skull. The man on the right is holding a pickaxe.

Not sure what to make of this scene - grave robbers? An old miner's skull?
Maybe there's a well-known story attached to this image. It reminds me of
the story of how Yale's secret society Skull and Bones exhumed the skull
of Geronimo.

6.5" x 4.25", plain back. Soiling on the front and back, and a pinhole in the
upper-left corner.
