Got a new jewelry saw, and took some copper sheets and started making interesting things to add to my jewelry. I love the accent on the turquoise pendant stone on this piece....it was made from a piece of copper that had been rolled through a press with some crumpled tissue paper. A lovely result!
This is an extra long chain, part of my retro 20's collection. Sleek and elegant-fun to make and fun to wear! The necklace measures 32" total length and drops about 13" from the base of the neck.
I use pure copper in all in my work, and copper will tarnish over time. I have tried different methods to seal the metal to protect the shine, and have not found anything that is satisfactory. Some people like copper jewelry that is a bit oxidized or tarnished, others not so much. It’s very simple to keep your jewelry, copper or silver, clean. Run it under warm water and rub a bit of toothpaste over all the surfaces. Rinse well and pat dry. Simple, inexpensive and very effective!
I craft every part of my jewelry, the chains, clasps, and earring components. They are truly special, one of kind pieces of art- a personal and unique statement for each person who owns or wears it.
I fully warranty my work. If your jewelry should become damaged for any reason, just ship it to me and I will repair it for you free of charge and ship it back to you. The only cost to you is shipping it to me. The only exception to this would be lost stones. Semi-precious stones are unique and often one of kind-they can also be expensive. I may not be able to duplicate the stones, or if I can, there would be a charge for the cost of the stones. I want you to love your jewelry and know that I stand behind everything I make.
