because i mill my own wood locally i have access to awesome beautiful end cuts that are not suitable for high end furniture. but they are perfect for creations like this one. because they are one of a kind, i take the time to photograph each one.
enjoy!

This cutting board was hand crafted by David Wolfgram using only recycled hardwoods and local discarded trees. By utilizing these materials we reduce our impact on our Earth. To ensure the longevity of your cutting board apply a teaspoon of vegetable or canola (petroleum free)oil to each side after washing. hand wash only.

the dadoed black walnut rails lift the cutting board off the counter allowing it to dry evenly and offer superb strength and support. hand chiseled black walnut "butterfly" provides support for the natural crack in the board.

reclaimed local cottonwood and black walnut
17 1/4" X 6" at its widest points
7/8" thick (1 5/8" tall with the black walnut rails)

hand signed and tagged with care instructions
hand rubbed out with sweet orange oil and beeswax

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING
LOCAL ARTISANS

During a day where “we” as a society consume natural
resources at such a rapid pace. Then cast aside or waste, in where some parts of the world would be deemed bountiful. I turn the remains of what thirst for expansion and
“more“ leave behind into beautiful functional heirloom quality works of art. My hope is that the discarded trees in our community will live on in vibration and history as
designed by my heart and hands.
