Delightful Green Fabric Bowl with Backyard Critters: Bug Collection!

According to Ms. Lily, things break. Especially pretty things, made of glass or pottery. (Clementine would prefer that you refrain from asking her mama just how she knows this to be true.)

So to keep peace in the family, and to make sure there are plenty of containers for this-that-and-everything, That Clever Clementine came up with a solution: reversible fabric bowls!

They are especially well-suited for use as yarn bowls. It’s easy to curl up on the sofa with a yarn bowl – it will cuddle your yarn cake, and a few knitting necessities. And when the dog jumps up and your bowl goes rollin’ … phew … no broken crockery to cry over!

But in addition, raising a rambunctious little gal like Clementine proves how useful these bowls are all ‘round the homestead. They look great on the table for dinner rolls – and it’s fun to pick one that coordinates with the table linens! Ms. Lily likes to have a few on the kitchen counter – to hold lemons, apples, etc. Sister Poppy likes to roll up some pretty hand towels, and arrange them in a fabric bowl of a complementary color for the powder room – a pretty and homey touch!

Oh, you’ll devise many a use for them, I’m sure, whether you have a house full of kids and critters (and their bouncy shenanigans) or not.

THE FINE PRINT
Every bowl has an all-cotton interior fabric, and a complementary all-cotton exterior fabric; seams are hidden, so each bowl is reversible. One layer of fabric is quilted with a repeating pattern of horizontal lines, for stability (and 'cuz it looks great!) You can fold the top down at whatever height you wish.

The bowl you are purchasing is shown in photo #1. In some cases, I do make multiples using the same fabrics; in that case, the bowl you will receive is virtually identical to the one shown, with possible slight variations in fabric placement.

At full extension (see photo #2) bowls are about 7” tall (17.78 cm); each is about 7.5" (19.05 cm) in diameter at the base.

The bottom of the bowl is lined with firm fabric stabilizer, plus interfacing; the sides are lined with fleece, plus interfacing.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
I recommend hand washing and air drying; you can press them a bit after that, if you like. Though my bags are very well-constructed and durable, I do not recommend machine washing/drying.

Please consult Policies section for additional details on fabric care, shipping, etc.
