Custom order a PaleoHebrew Atarah for your tallit (or it may be added to a tallit ordered from Hadar). The Bracha is hand-painted by me in metallic fabric paint, in the Ancient Script! (Ordering an atarah in classical Hebrew is also possible; convo me if I don't have a separate listing up.)

These are the same letters, but written the way they were before our first exile (to Babylonia). That beautiful classic "square" script we think of as Hebrew lettering is actually a Babylonian Aramaic script. Hebrew readers say my version of the ancient script is clear enough that they can identify the letters.

Not just for Hebrew Bible Geeks or Ph.D. candidates in the history and culture of the Ancient Near East.... Also for those who love the unusual, and anyone with an "antiquarian" bent...
But also for those whose connection to the divine is enhanced by contact with the ancient origins of their religion.

The first atarah pictured (on my tallit) is in gold on red dupioni silk on a background of hand-dyed blue-violet velvet. The second is not yet on a background, but is also in dupioni silk (aquamarine), with lettering in silver, in this case with the letters intentionally applied slightly unevenly so as to look, well, "ancient". Also looks great in silver, gold, or bronze on light-blue/dark blue or purple/magenta, or green/gold (or consult with me about colors that would match your tallit!) .

The price includes attaching the atarah to your tallit. (You pay to ship it to me, I pay for it to come home again). If you prefer just to purchase the atarah by itself, or it is in conjunction with placing a tallit order, please convo me before ordering.
