This vintage tea tin features Asian designs of gold on black rectangular backgrounds or cream colored background. It is free of dents but does have some rusting and some signs of usage, which is expected for its age. It has an octagon (8-sided) shape in cross section, and the lid handle is hexagonal (6-sided).

The tin is about 6 1/2" tall, 4 1/2" wide, and has a lid that fits very snugly. On the botton of the tin it reads Peek, Frean & Co., LTD. London, S.E. 16. England. It also says By Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen Biscuit Manufacturers beneath a lion and unicorn crest.

This tin would be a perfect addition to your rustic decor, vintage kitchen decor or shabby chic decor.
