This tan marled yarn has a great workhorse feel, with solid plying and a neutral look with a touch of visual interest. This heavy fingering weight, 13 WPI yarn is a cotton, wool, and acrylic blend with a good weight, takes most of its textural cues from its cotton content. The composition is 60% cotton, 20% lambswool, 20% acrylic.

The yarn has two-tone marling with one lighter and one darker tan, adding some visual depth and texture while remaining subtle and neutral in style. As always, every effort has been made to accurately represent the color, but keep in mind when choosing your yarn that monitors can vary.

This yarn is reclaimed from a thrift-store sweater, carefully cleaned and thoroughly washed, then hung to dry with a weight to straighten the strands. It should be machine washed cold on delicate, reshaped, and laid flat to dry.

This skein is 179 yards, measured with a length counter, and weighs 83 grams. 4 other skeins, totaling 642 yards, including this listing, are also available and can be shipped together. All of my reclaimed yarns are sold by length.

I can wind this skein into a center-pull cake free of charge upon request. Please include a note in your order or convo me if you'd like this service.
