This tundra swan was a request from a customer to add to her collection. She was kind enough to send some great pictures to guide our design and this is the result.
The Tundra Swan breeds in the high tundra across North America , and winters along both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.

This tile is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and can be used in a kitchen or bath back-splash, a fireplace surround or a framed stand alone piece of artwork.

Using the cuerda seca method popular in the Arts and Crafts era of the early 1900's, Richard lays out his drawing of the bird using wax, then applies the color.
Whether you have an Arts and Crafts style home or just appreciate the beauty of birds, these tiles can make a lovely accent.

(the pictured frame is not included in the price but can be purchased separately in the 'Tile Frames' section).
