This is the first time I received a purchased and gasped when I opened the package!! This leather halter is such high quality and they oiled the leather and the name plate is awesome and I don’t remember what I paid off hand but it was worth every penny!! It will last forever. Thank you!!

Disappointed. Beautiful leather but lousy workmanship and not as described in the listing and photos. I was expecting a classic leather halter with only stitching on the sides of the leather like in the photos but instead received a halter that is triple stitched (there is also a line of stitching running through the middle of each leather piece). I know this wouldn't be a big deal but I purchased this halter specifically because it was not supposed to be triple stitched. In addition, the leather stitched around the brass clips is done lazily and the pieces do not line up so there is leather hanging off to one side on each piece. The rolled throat latch is also twisted and kinked. Nice leather halter? Sure. Show quality? Probably not. What I thought I was buying? No, definitely not.

We are so sorry you are disappointed. Unfortunately with the Amish makers sometimes the halters vary a little. Please feel free to contact me and we can arrange to have a new halter shipped out and we will make sure that it is only stitched on the sides. We have never had quality issues with Mose Miller and he guarantees his work. Again we have no problem replacing this halter for you.
