A finial from the top of an antique wood stove. It was from a Chapel Parlor Wood Stove made in Troy, NY between 1820 - 1870. It is a gorgeous sculptural piece with acorns, flowers and and flowing lines. Though the stove is gone, this piece would add be a lovely touch to your home decor.
It stands 10 inches tall and is approximately 6 inches wide. It weighs just under 3 1/2 pounds, and does stand flat or straight on a level surface.

We have cleaned a good amount of rust off the piece, making it look new, but if you prefer the rust, get it wet, and let it air dry....it will come back.

I am happy to answer questions, send additional pics or consider offers.
