Beautiful postcard of Edwardian stage actress Gertie Millar with a gold background and color flower details. I believe it dates from around 1910.

About Gertie Millar (from Wikipedia):

"Gertrude "Gertie" Millar (later Countess of Dudley) (21 February 1879 – 25 April 1952) was one of the most famous English singer-actresses of the early 20th century, known for her performances in Edwardian musical comedies.

Beginning her career at age 13, Millar was a star of musical comedies for two decades. She married composer Lionel Monckton, who composed many of her shows and songs that she made famous. After Monckton died in 1924, Millar married the 2nd Earl of Dudley."

Condition: This card is in Good to Very Good condition - the corners are quite sharp with only very minor bumping, no bends or creases. There are a couple of dark smudges, mostly on the gold background. Unused. 3.5" x 5.5" with a divided back. Produced by J. Beagles & Co.

Please note: The picture of the back may not be from this specific postcard - I have a few of these and since the backs are pretty much identical, I'm showing this one as an example.
