Antique Japanese kasuri/ikat cotton haori jacket. Early Showa era (around 1940s).

Expertly hand stitched. Interesting lining detail on the shoulder.

Indigo dye. Blue and white kasuri splash pattern.

Light and soft cotton, perfect for summer. Sleeves are three quarter length with elasticated cuff.

This is very wearable and in fantastic condition.

Please note: the listing is for the haori in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th photo. The first photo has sold and is almost identical to the one listed here.

If you are looking for something a little larger, take a look at this ikat hanten:

I would say this is small to medium, however please check the measurements carefully.

Sleeve length: 31cm

Length, back : 65cm

Width, back, armpit to armpit : 62cm
