This is a working Penciliter. It is a combination of a mechanic lead pencil and a lighter. The Penciliter was manufactured by Ronson between 1935 and 1948 both in the USA and England. It was the first combination of a one-motion wick lighter and super-fine propel-repel mechanical pencil. The removable pencil unit contains an eraser and a compartment for spare leads.

The Penciliter was a bestseller in England and the U.S. It was advertised as a very practical gift which was indeed in the past smoking era.

This is an Uncommon Lighter. It comes with it's original box that reads " Ronson Penciliter Plated with Rhodium a precious, non-tarnishing metal of the Platinum Group. Made in the USA."

It is being sold in gently used condition. This Penciliter is in beautiful condition. It looks as though it was hardly ever used. The lighter is in great working order. It lights easily The pencil has lead in it and writes perfectly. The original box is in great shape.

This lighter has a brand new flint, it sparks great, it just needs to be filled with fluid.

A wonderful addition to your collection or as a unique gift.

"There's nothing like a Ronson!" They are built dependable to give you years of faithful lights.
