Beautiful pair, an Elgin pocket watch, which dates to 1906,
according to the serial number on the guts of the watch,
and a victorian era CAM & Co. gold filled watch chain.
Watch keeps excellent time, and the second hand is working.
The casing is gold filled, and has no wear.
It looks so much like 14k, I had to test it 2ce to be sure it was not,
and no hallmarks anywhere to indicate it is.

The chain is hallmarked CAM & CO on the 'claw' clasp.
There is no wear on the chain, except for a teeny bit on the claw clasp.
Very heavy and solid. Almost has a rose colored hue.
It is a different gold color than the spring ring, which looks more like gold.
I have the watch suspended from the center, with a gold tone jump ring,
as my jeweler says that women are now wearing pocket watches as pendants, on watch chains.
The center has a 4 way clover, where you would normally hang a watch fob or small knife.
The jump ring can easily be removed, if you want to place the watch at the end.

Watch is marked with the following information:
1112938 inside front and back covers.
The inner most cover protecting the watch mechanism says:
WADSWORTH warranted 20 years, 1112938
The mechanism's marked Elgin Natl Watch Co. 12685031 USA Safety Pinion
Watch measures 1 3/8" in diameter, and 3/8" thick.
Chain measures 15" 1/2" long, including clasp.
