Item details

wheel thrown from durable stoneware clay, made in Colorado

Height: 6.75 Inches; Width: 4 Inches; Depth: 4 Inches

This handmade vase featuring my green, gold, copper and bronze glaze - called Lichen - is just the right size for a desk, window sill or counter top. The glaze is a special one that took me two years to perfect. It contains crystals from the Lithia Spring water that I use in the recipe. It kind of reminds me of geodes. I will include a description of the glaze in your shipment.

It measures 6.75" high x 4" across and features a decorative rim with cut out hearts all around. It is modern decor for a home or office.

I created this vessel on my pottery wheel out of durable white stoneware clay and then incised a design around the top rim for added interest.

I have other vases and vessels in a variety of sizes and glaze colors. You can see them here:

If I feel I can make something custom for you in a style, design and glaze that I have tested and perfected, I'm happy to consider custom and personalized orders. Please know that there is generally an added charge for this and it may take six weeks or more to complete.
Because all of my pottery is made one at a time, there will be variations in size, even when you purchase a set of two or more pieces. Generally these are maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch in difference and a couple ounces in volume at times.
I use a very durable stoneware clay for my pottery, making it able to withstand continued, everyday use. Unless stated otherwise in the description, you can use my pottery in your oven, microwave and dishwasher.
It is very difficult to gift wrap your pottery since I need to make sure it has lots of bubblewrap and peanuts surrounding it so it arrives intact. However, I am very happy to tie a ribbon around the packing material and to include a hand written card with a message from you inside the box. Just leave me the wording in your Note to Seller at check out.
I do sell my work wholesale to gift shops and galleries. Please contact me for minimum order and pricing information. My phone is: 970-846-9349 and my email is

I also have a watercolor shop here on etsy and would love to be represented by a gallery for that work. You can see it at:
