This knife has an elk antler tip handle which is curved and feels great in your hand. Finished at the blade end with layered wood of cherry and maple for a different look. Blade is high carbon steel and will be shipped very sharp.
The custom fitted sheath is hard tanned cowhide liner covered with rawhide. It has been stitched up the front with linen cord in a very primitive style. Decorated with buffalo scalp locks ( to simulate the look of real scalps) hung in old tin cone beads. Bone and antique green hearts finish the look of age and a nice used patina. Rawhide was walnut dyed to further add to the weathered look. The 2"+ belt loop is ample enough to use a wide belt or woven sash. Knife is about 9" long with a 4" drop point blade. It rides low and tight in the sheath which was fitted to this knife so it will not fall out with activity.
