Vintage Two Face Creamer - Ivory Parian Pitcher Porcelain China - Reserved for Elizabeth

This vintage parian creamer / pitcher is a sweetie that will hold a tiny bouquet of flowers or simply be used to hold a bit of cream for your coffee - very elegantly! Both sides of the jug have the same face of a bearded man with a mustache - Interesting concept!

On the bottom there is no maker's mark. I estimate it is from the 1920s or 1930s. Despite its age, the condition is very good - no cracks, chips, repairs or crazing - there are tiny black specks here and there under the glaze - done in the manufacturing process. This lovely vase has been sitting in my china cabinet for more than 40 years :)

It is 4-1/4 inches ( 11 cm) in height. The exterior has a lovely lustre, with the same interior. Great to put your pencils in!

Similar to Belleek parian china, this creamer is fine, handcrafted parian china - it is only slightly heavier than Belleek, and there are some dots in the manufacture of this porcelain.

This creamer is a lovely example of figural pottery that would add much to a collection, or would make a perfect housewarming gift.

From my smoke free home in Dunrobin, Ontario, Canada.
