Remember the days of hot oatmeal for breakfast? Remember the free gift in the box? Well, here they are! More than just a collectible, antique Depression glass offers a look at the past through its rich and interesting history and enduring popularity. Manufactured in the United States from the 1920s until after World War II, Depression glass was often offered as a premium, or as a free gift, for buying another item. Housewives found these glass items in products such as detergent or oatmeal boxes; gas stations often gave a cup or plate for a fill-up; and movie theaters included a piece with movie tickets.

This valance is lovely in any window. The texture of the glass is magnificent in the sunlight casting rainbows with the prism cuts of the coasters.

Measuring approximately 24 x 9 there are rings for hanging either horizontally or vertically.
