The Ablet Knitting Abacus counts rows with the touch of your finger. Never forget your row count again. Easy to use... Pretty to wear. Just slide a bead to count your rows.

Your row counter bracelet adjusts from about 7" to almost 9" to fit almost any wrist. Once the clasp is adjusted, you won't need to use the lobster again. A toggle clasp is much easier on your weary knitter's hands!

The black and white beads were a special request by my teenage son who plans on using his for some secret gaming need. Please don't ask me to explain. It's something in mumble. I haven't a clue! But, apparently even teenage boys want Ablets.

Cause they aren't just for knitting anymore.

They have many uses:
Crochet, comes to mind, of course.
Calorie counting.
Keeping track of the date.
Perfect for golfers to keep score.
... the list continues to grow.

I've only recently taken up knitting, so keeping track of rows is important for me. I was writing them down on paper, but this is so much easier. I like that the bracelet closes with a strong magnet; once you get the lobster hook set to your preferred size, you never have to move it again. I'm very glad I ordered this.

  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits

Payment can be made through paypal or Etsy's direct checkout.

I usually finish custom orders within 2 weeks of purchase.

Returns & exchanges

Patterns cannot be returned or refunded, for obvious reasons.

All other items (except hats) can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund minus shipping.

Hats cannot be returned due to laws governing sanitation on hats... who knew? We've got laws for everything!

Shipping policies

DOMESTIC:
I ship all my items USPS first class, unless the customer specifically requests otherwise. This comes with automatic tracking. I do not request delivery confirmation, nor do I insure packages under $100.
I try to ship items at least twice a week.

INTERNATIONAL
I ship all international packages USPS first class, unless the customer specifically requests otherwise. This comes with a customs number for tracking. Please note that tracking is only possible to the US border. Once the package has left the country the USPS can no longer track the item. Canada, I believe, still follows the tracking code, but as far as I know, they are the only country that does.
I list the item as "row counter" on the customs forms, and list the wholesale price (rather than the retail price). This reduces VAT in most cases and still allows me to be honest. (The customs form asks for the "value" of the item, not the price paid! Maybe I should put priceless on the value, but who knows what your customs folks would do with that! ;)

Additional policies

Please convo me with any requests for custom orders, wholesale or consignment.

In general, I don't like to allow sales of derivative works from my patterns. In other words, don't make 100 chess sets (yeah right!) and sell them on ebay! However, I have and do make changes to this policy under special circumstances. Please email me for consent, if you feel you deserve an exception.
