Iconic Famolare wedge platform high heel sandals in rich, dark chocolate brown leather and harness style details. Features an open toe, classic wave wedge, ankle side buckle and a strappy modified t-strap with a tribal feel. Incredibly chic, amazingly comfortable. Quite rare and highly collectible, these are fabulous!

Per the Famolare website: Famolare shoes are on permanent display at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, and in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC and the Cinncinnati Museum of Art.

Marked Famolare ~ Hi Up ~ Made in Canada ~ 8.5 M ~ US Pat D 235819. (This patent date is 1980.) The trademark bicycle is also included. Seems to fit like a US size 8 or 8 1/2. See measurements for modern size comparison. Please note, monitor colors can, and do, vary. Very good to excellent, unworn vintage condition - only issues are from storage: a small mark on the outer heel of each, and small little smudges on the heels here and there. (Enlarge images for greater detail.)

APPROXIMATE measurements...
Insole Length: about 10 1/8"
