The stone has been hand cut and polished in a freeform shape. The material is natural and not stabilized. This was a difficult stone to get the colours on my camera. The pictures were taken outdoors in natural light with overcast sky. The dioptase is a nice green but doesn't show so clearly in these pictures. The green is quite a lovely color not unlike the color of malachite. Dioptase is not too common a stone and mixes very well with the shattuckite.

The shattuckite is a dark blue and is the main colour in the stone interspersed with the cuprite and brown host rock. In outdoor light the blue coloring is a nice royal blue. The chrysocolla outlines the green dioptase with its turquoise blue color.

This is a beautiful stone from the Congo in Africa. The host rock was riddled through with a mix of dioptase stattucktite chrysocolla and dark cuprite. It makes one think of the colours of the earth and oceans.
The stone is quite heavy and solid for its size. With the combination of the blues, greens, light blue and the brown matrix it is a powerful healer. It combines the upper chakra colors of turquois and blue with the green for the heart. The darkness of the blue as well as the brown is good at staying grounded.
