This nice wooden antique box is from the 1940's or 50's. There are no markings on it and it is basically in the same shape as when I got it. It has the beautiful marquetry woodwork that resembles a butcher block down each side and really popped when I put some furniture oil on it. Someone has done some work on the little hinges and although feel secure at this time, they really should be repaired better for looks; I don't believe it will be too difficult. Since there are no shelves, lining, or drawers in it, it will be good for a great number of things.
