This tabby cat is well on it's way through 9 lives. It started out as an illustration for a Deloitte & Touche centennial report, whose theme was "On Being 100." It was one of twenty pages assigned to artists of varying media--painters, photographers, sculptors, etc. The original is crocheted in cotton yarns, sewn to a felt backing, then stuffed from behind-- a technique known as trapunto. It measures 36" x 33" approximately.

I am offering a limited number of signed prints from the original run--they are quality offset prints, mounted in archival mats, measuring 14" square overall.

When I began crafting in earnest, crocheting became a primary technique, and this cat seemed the obvious choice for my identity. It earned the name "Logo" after years of being called simply Cat/Rug. The framed art often accompanies me to craft fairs, where kids can't help petting it.
