Wonderful 70s Gunne Sax maxi dress in a sort of prairie meets Renaissance style.

Fabric pattern is another design combo that I'd call "cabbage rose with paisley shawl," with soft colors of coral, beige, light brown, cream, light teal, and black

Fitted and lined bodice has a rounded neckline with a creamy floral lace bib and a neck that is high at sides and back. Yoked waist with long ties in back. Center back zipper.

Gauzy unlined sleeves are slightly puffed at shoulder and full to elbow. Forearm is fitted with a long zipper and a lace accent.

Skirt is long and full with lace accent trim below knee. Lining is not quite as full and falls from waist.

Fabric is a cotton/poly blend. Condition, very good, with a couple stitches needed to a side seam on the skirt, and the lining has a few splash stains as shown. Will leave any cleaning up to the buyer. Please note the skirt has been hemmed to be a bit shorter than it originally was but this could probably be let out again. Or hem even more if needed for your height!

Size marked is a vintage 9, next to the Gunne Sax "black label." This dress is VERY SMALL but also very long and would need to be hemmed shorter for many people. Please check these measurements against similar styles that fit well on you for best fit:

Shoulders across 12.5"
Bust about 33" around
Waist about 28" around
Sleeve about 27" top of shoulder to hem
Underarm to waist side seam length 6.5"
Waist to bottom hem in center back 43"

Romantic retro dressing!
