Here is a set of eight pieces of vintage baby clothing, most of which is in good condition.

There are two dresses and four little onsies for boys and a two piece suit with a tiny bow tie. Also a bib, in blue, so presumably for a boy.

From left to right and top to bottom.

First, This is a newborn size baby dress from Pemea. The measurement across the chest is 10 inches. The underarm to hem is also 10 inches. As you can see from the photographs, there is a scalloped hem with matching cuffs on the sleeves and the collar. There is some wonderful smocking across the front and embroidery on the front and the shoulder.

I'm not certain of the age of this dress beyond the fact that it is more than 20 years old. Based on the turquois color, I'm thinking more in the 40 year range. It is in good condition with no tears. There is a tiny brown spot on the back. I have not made any attempt to remove it.

Second, a tiny white onsie with an embroidered blue giraffe. It buttons down the front. There is blue tatting around the collar. While in relatively good condition this, too has a tiny spot on it. Again, I haven't tried to remove it.

Third, This is a newborn size baby romper suit Made by an unknown maker. As can be seen in the photos it is in good but worn vintage condition. I can not find any spots or tears. There is no tag. The little pants are lined with plastic presumable for use with cloth diapers (they are making a come back currently, but that is all they had many long years ago). The fabric reminds me of a poly/cotton but is not pilled at all by its previous use.

Second Row, first/fourth, This is a very old layette type dress in a batiste. There collar and sleeve are trimmed in a pink batiste. There are flowers embroidered on the bodice. It has a few age spots.

Fifth, a slightly larger onsie with yellow trimon the sleeves and collar. It buttons down the back and has blocks embroidered on the chest in yellow and green.

Sixth, This is a newborn size baby romper suit from Alexis. As can be seen in the photos it is in good but worn vintage condition. I can not find any spots or tears. The tag shows several washings (by its wrinkledness) and some initials. The fabric reminds me of a poly/cotton but is not pilled at all by its previous use. There is a little bunny embroidered on the chest.

Third Row, This is a newborn size baby romper suit from Doe Spun. As you can see from the photographs, there are definitely some age spots and character marks on this one although it is generally in good condition. The threading on the sides which made it gather just a little is loose. The little felt deer is loose and there is a small spot or two on it.

It was purchased in 1940 according to its original owner for use on her little baby boy. I'm certain it has been laundered many times, but I have not done so, as I am chicken a little and I usually am not patient enough to remove the spot or other offending mark without damaging the fabric. This fabric is in good condition, I'm just a little rough.

Finally, a little bib with a blue poodle embroidered on it. It has some brown spots which, again, I have not tried to remove.

These outfits could be worn by a little one whose mother loved vintage or retro things, used in photo shoots or they would be beautiful framed or just put on older hangers and used as wall art. The colors are very neutral, mainly white with a tiny bit of blue/grey on the deer as a highlight so it would match most decors.

I originally listed most of these outfits individually, but have decided on a combined listing. There are several in "perfect" condition and the spots are minor in the others. As stated previously, I have not attempted to remove any of them, and don't know how difficult this would be. If anyone would like more photos, please contact me and I will send some. When listed previously, each had five photos, so I have extras and close ups of the embroidery, smocking, etc.

I am also willing to break up the set, just convo me for details and we can work something out. I combined them mainly because of the shipping but also gave a "quantity discount" on the lot.

Thank you for stopping by.
