1950s Creamy white with gold highlights and pink rose flowers, large teapot and sugar bowl. The stamp "C.A.C. Labrut & Cie Grigny" (sugar bowl) was used by the pottery of Grigny for a short period, between 1942 and 1953. In 1951, relocated to "C.A.C. Labrut & Cie Thonon Les Bains" (tea pot). It was a small producer in the Rhone region, of which little is well preserved. The factory was closed in 1953. Faience porcelain tea pot, large sugar bowl, or whatever you choose them to be... Happy Mother's Day!

This listing is for the teapot alone.

Size: approximately
Tea pot - 8 1/4" height x 9 1/4" width x 5 1/2" depth
Sugar bowl - 6" height x 8" width x 5" depth

Good vintage condition, I have found one hairline crack and a few small chips on the tea pot, the handle on the sugar bowl looks to have been broken and repaired, some scratches, some discolorations, and very light crazing on each. There is one large and a few tiny "dents" in the tea pot lid, naturally occuring in the production. They do not share the same flowers and the sugar bowl is a slightly darker shade of cream, they could belong to other sets though their design matches (see images for more details)
