This hexagon-shaped pressed glass salt cellar was used during the early to mid 20th century and was placed at a table setting in wealthier homes. Little glass or silver spoons used to accompany these and have been lost over the years. I created a wonderful vintage button lid for this salt cellar out of vintage buttons and notions. The base button is a dark abalone shell with a iridescent flare. A silver and bright red old earring is used to give extra vintage character. A white button stud sits on top of a clear glass button, making the perfect handle. Another white shell button is placed under the lid to keep it in place. Now the salt cellar is a sweet little resting place for your rings, earrings, a fine chain necklace, or used for an engagement proposal!

Ring box measures about 1 3/4" in diameter and about 2 1/4" tall with lid. The opening measures about 1" in diameter and about 3/8" deep. This ring box is best for small to medium rings that are not overly chunky.

Enjoy a one of a kind item that is impossible for me to recreate!
