Kirtland warblers are endangered and are only found in Michigan. They are the rarest member of the wood warbler family. I came across these beauties while researching yellow and gray birds for a customer's wedding. Photo #2 + #4 shows the male and female (brown back) for a cake topper for another wedding!

This bird has been needle felted which is a time consuming process that uses a single barbed needle to repeatedly poke wool roving until the desired shape is formed. Much care and consideration has been taken to accurately depict the markings and colors. Mr. Kirtland Warbler is a lifesize 6 inches long, stands on wire feet and has black glass eyes.

Your bird is custom made once you place your order***. I usually ship your order within 3-5 days of payment, but please allow me more time especially during busy holiday times or for multiple orders. Diring the Christmas rush I am overloaded with orders by the end of October, so please order early!

Please remember that these birds should not be given to small children!

***I have a limited amount of birds in my inventory ready to ship out within 2 days. Please refer to my announcement on the first page of my shop for an updated listing of what is available.
