Description

This listing is for a PATTERN so you can make your own shoes!

Be sure to pick the right size pattern: this listing has patterns sized from US Size 6 to 7.5 (Euro 35.5-37.5, or UK 4.5-6). Each shoe size comes as a separate PDF file for easier printing.

This toe shape has a nice, tailored look. The back heel seam is curved for a graceful line.

This pattern will walk you through making your own wedding slippers, bridesmaids slippers; or just the perfect pair of shoes for that one outfit... Patterns include ribbon placement for ballet slippers, as well as how to add a little elastic to the heel to provide some give for feet that swell or just need a little wiggle room.

Use my experience making over 500 pairs of custom shoes to get the right fit: I include instructions for altering the width of shoes and the fit at the heel. You'll know the exact dimensions the pattern fits and learn how to measure your feet to see if you need to alter it.

There are 23 pages of FULL COLOR instructions with 63 images. I’ve broken down the shoemaking process into tiny little steps, and included a picture of every little step.

One purchaser's review:

"Thank you very much for the special care taken in creating an easy to follow tutorial with plenty of step by step photos. It is the best online pattern I have bought to date, with great instructions!"

Pattern pages are 8.5 x 11" for easy printing, in a separate, black and white pdf file. Patterns include scale checks so when you print, you can be sure you've printed to the right size.

Patterns include the line I use for reinforcing the uppers with recycled rubber (bike tire tubes) or suede where the fabric would otherwise touch the ground. I suggest you try your first couple pairs with a canvas or thin suede sole.

Etsy makes these files available for instant download after your payment is complete.

Returns and exchange details
I've finished the transition from a full time custom fit to a very part time ready made shop.

Ready made shoes can be returned/exchanged as long as they are in new condition and do not show any wear. Custom shoes in standard sizes or easily resold sizes are also returnable. Custom fit shoes (different sized feet, extraordinarily wide or narrow) require careful measuring, and are difficult for me to resell in the event of a measuring error.
