You cannot get more 1950s than Melmac or the color turquoise (unless maybe pink). This nice retro divided serving bowl measures about 9 1/4 inches across and 2 1/2 inches tall. Stamped "Melmac, Mallo-Belle by Mallory, M-416 Bowl, Chicago 41, Illinois, U.S.A."

Melmac is the name for plastic dinnerware created with the use of melamine. It was first developed in the 1940s, and became popular in the 1950s and 1960s. One of the main attributes of Melmac is the durability. The lightweight plastic construction holds up well and this beauty is in very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or discoloration. Only light surface scratches noticed in strong light when held at an angle. Of course it is spotlessly clean for you.

Melmac dinnerware can be washed by hand or placed in the dishwasher. They do not shatter when dropped so great for kids, travel vacations, and cookouts/picnics—lightweight but yet will not blow away like paper plates!

Be sure to ask me about combined shipping. This piece would be a nice one to combine with others in my shop.
