This is a medium genuine sea glass paperweight handmade by me. These paperweights have a perfectly flat bottomed glass based measuring 3 and 1/2" in circumference. The base is covered in genuine sand collected from the bottom of my gathering bags over time. I waste nothing. This piece is nearly 4" in height. I used larger pieces of sea glass which I hand collected myself. VERY HEAVY. Very sturdy so you can pick it up by the glass to dust.

A handsome addition to your beach cottage decor. It arrives in a reuseable heavy duty decorative box. Double boxed for safety. Shipping is free.

This piece has a rainbow of colors.....cobalt, lavender, white milk, seafoam, yellow amber, brown, amber, white, olive, green, lime, aqua and sea blue, and cornflower. Each of my paperweights features a special piece or two, this one has a a couple a nice purple and opaque marble piece.

As always, shipping is free.

What is Sea Glass?

Sea Glass pieces are frosty, sparkling gems that are naturally tumbled by the sea, sand and time. Each has a unique shape just like a snowflake does. These glass “shards” originate from broken bottles and tableware found as a result of eroded dump sites, natural disasters, and (my favorite) shipwrecks. Yo, Ho, Ho, and a bottle of Rum!

A really good piece of Sea Glass is at least 50 years old. It takes that long to tumble in the surf and sand and become pitted by mother nature. They are a perfect example of our human discarded “rubbish” turned into something beautiful by the ocean.

The pieces you find in my store are hand collected from the sea shore, by me or someone I know personally. With the wonderful recycling we do now, they will not be found forever.

I am a proud member of the North American Sea Glass Association, preserving these gems and heirlooms for your family.
