The autobiography of Jessica Mitford, chronicles the first part of her life, as sixth of seventh children raised in a series of the their baron father's country homes in England. Jessica was known as the "red sheep" of the family for her adherence to communism and renunciation of her privileged background. She lead a very colorful life, and here it all is.

There must have been a sheet of paper clipped to the title page as it is slightly discolored in one area, and the rust of the paper clip on the back of same page.

A previous owner's name is inscribed inside, Elizabeth Butterworth, In good vintage condition, tightly bound, with no markings, though there are a few odd stains, perhaps from wine?
