My book is 9.5” by 8.5”

90% of the book is made out of cotton fabric. Also I have used felt, beads, buttons.

Book has 16 pages including the cover. It fastens on loops and buttons outside. It has a polyfil filling so it is soft and won’t scratch or hurt the baby as it sometimes happens with hard or paper books. The book is recommended and will entertain your kid of 1yo to 4-5yo!

This books was intended to help baby develop the small /fine motor skills. Also playing with this book will help develop memory and logics. The characters in this book introduce the outside world to the kid. The book will be perfect for use on the trip, in the airplane, as a night time activity or as any time activity! Perfect for those quite moments that parents spend with kids reading the books which is very important for the perfect kid’s development.

Please be careful as this book has small parts. They are fixed to the book well and secure enough, but accidents do happen, so kids under age 3 should play with the book under adult’s supervision.
Pages:

Front cover page has a plastic window where you can put child’s photo. I’ve put my own photo from many years ago :) But you have the idea.
Back cover page has a small pocket where child can hide his/her little treasuries. Also it can be used as a place where you can hide a little surprise for your kid.

First page has a tree made out of felt on a cotton page. Flowers can be fastened onto the tree with buttons and can be taken off.

Second page: The birds is sitting in the bird house. It can be taken out of the house, but it is attached to the house by ribbon, so you cannot lose it. It can “fly” from the house, sit on the tree and go back to the house. Bird’s wings are sewn onto the bird only at the base, so they can flap. Child can touch and flap them. Also the bird has eyes and beak which can be used for studying face parts on the creature.

3rd page has a chiken that sits in her nest. There are eggs in the nest. Under her wing chicken has 2 chicks – a girl and a boy, attached by Velcro. Also chicken has a pocket behind her back, chicks can hide there. The wing is attached only at the base and can flap. Eggs and chicks are attached on the ribbon, you can’t lose them.

4th page has a piglet’s house. Piglet is hiding behind the fence. There’s a hole in the fence where you can see piglet’s nose.. The fence is attached only at the base. You can lift it and see who’s hiding behind it - a piglet.

5th page has a lady bug. Wings zip up with a zipper. A child can learn to work with a zipper. There are little lady bug’s kids inside the wings. They’re attached on the ribbon.

6th page has a beautiful red flower and soft pom poms. Pom poms are meant for touching and baby’s fingers’ sense developing. The flower hides a bee inside it. Bee is attached by the ribbon.

7th and 8th pages are the and they have a common story. There is a room and a piece of cheese is laying on the floor. Cat is guarding that cheese. A little mouse lives in a hole. She wants to have that cheese for breakfast so she carefully walks out of her hole. But she sees a cat and hides again. Mouse is moving with a help of a ribbon that has a bead on its end. It’s necessary for the game. Mouse has fun ears that a child can touch and flap.

9th page has a mitten on it. Mitten has eyes, nose made out of coconut buttons and a mouth. Child can stick a finger into the mouth. Kids love to do it :) Also children can put the whole hand into the mitten as they’d do in winter.

10th page has a caterpillar on a tree. A very bright appliqué. A caterpillar has legs which are very curious and perfect to pull on.

11th page has a house with a door. There’s a dog hiding behind a door.

12th page has a rooster. His wings are sewn at the base only and can flap. Rooster’s legs stretch and also have bears on them which are movable. The rooster’s body and his legs have a crinkly filling that makes noise. My grandson is so happy with a toy like that!

13th page has an apple with a worm. The worm can be moved but is fixed inside the apple.

14th page has a girl who has 10 beads on a rubber band and also there are numbers there. You can start teaching your kid about the numbers around the age of 2. I was doing that with my daughter and had wonderful results.

I am sure your children would enjoy this book a lot. The book is absolutely new made with all new materials. I made it in April 2012. My kids had such books and they didn’t want to part with them even when they grew up. Next book – made to order – may include a page with your idea design instead of my design, just let me know about your particular requests for a custom made book! If you want to add more pages with your design in addition to my pages, it will cost $8 per page.

-made in the area free of smoke, drugs, alcohol and other allergens. I keep my studio clean to the highest standards.

Please ask me about shipping outside the US and I will provide you with an accurate estimate of the cost.
