Got a grundle of real sari from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Burma, and Malaysia. I'll be carrying both new and antique or vintage sari for you altered clothing and indie designers as well as gussied up modern sari lengths for your Bollywood nights! Saris are the original Goddess clothing and exotic home decor!

Vintage sari are pre-loved so realize that they won't be perfect, you get them as is, but your designs with them will be OOAK fabulous. I'll do my best to let you know big issues up front.

These are real, authentic sari - not the pricey imitation India inspired border prints you can get from the fabric store. Made the traditional way. Many of them are hand loomed and hand embellished using locally made silks and cotton yarns. Dyes in the older saris are vegatal or madras and may not necessarily be colorfast with your detergents.

Hand carved wooden blocks are used to print acrylic paints and dyes onto the nicest fabrics, then another process applies the glitter to the borders and body on the glitterati sari. Most of these have the traditional uber decorated pallu measuring at least 30" long and 40-45" wide. Both borders are decorated with either embroidery, sequins, woven designs or metallic prints.

Some may be hand embroidered or tambour worked by hand.

Show up to your party in something absoutely feminine and divine to stand out! In the heat of summer, a cotton sari is next to starclad!! A sari is easy to wrap and flatters the most voluptuous of Goddess figures! Worn over a traditional petticoat and choli blouse or not (and we will be carrying these as well), these are the perfect, "I don't know what to wear" classic item.

Colors are vibrant, but realize that there's differences between monitors and settings.

These are a wonderful fabric value! You get approximately five or more yards of special fabric for a reasonable price.
Look for our petticoats and cholis, made or DYI soon!

A note on dating: I can only guesstimate the age of these because of my buying arrangement. They are made between 1920 and the 1990s.

So very comfortable, sensuous and sexy!
