Vintage lacer boot by Texas Boot Co. The boots come in a tall lace up boot with steel toes and quick lace hooks. The tongue of the boots are one solid strip of leather attached to both sides of the boot. We're not exactly sure the age of the boots. My best guess is these were made sometime in the 70's, but no later. The boots were made by Texas which has the latest development date of the late 50's, as a posed to the Biltrite heel capes, Vibram soles, and Steel toes, which all date back between the 1930's and 1950's. At first we suspected they could be from the 50's as the boots were a brown color, but then died black. Many combat boots in the 50's were died black when the US Military switched from brown combat boots to black in the late 40's/early 50's. But, Texas brand wasn't even around until the late 50's and didn't really get in the game until a bit later.... so there it is.

In short, these boots are amazing. Its just that simple.
