With this tutorial, you will learn an innovative and beautiful polymer clay technique with lots of possibilities. Find out how to achieve the most convincing cloisonne look without any expensive or high-tech equipment required for regular closisonne done with metals and glass. No soldering, firing, or melting will be necessary! Instead, I will teach you my signature Faux Cloisonne technique done with polymer clay and resin at the comfort of your home.

The instructions in the tutorial are structured around a simple project shown in the first picture.

The next two pictures of this listing show a few of my necklaces made in this technique. I show them here to illustrate the possibilities of this technique.

Using this project, I explain all the critical steps of my Faux Cloisonne technique:

How to create a sketch for your Faux Cloisonne pendant, necklace, or earrings;
How to shape a pendant in any custom form you wish;
What wire to use and how to shape it;
How to apply the wire to your work;
How to create the most vibrant colors in cloisons;
How to use two-part epoxy resin to create smooth glass-like surface on your Faux Cloisonne pieces;
How to embellish your Faux Cloisonne works with Swarovski crystals;
How to attach a bail to your pendants;
and - very important! - How to avoid and correct the most common mistakes while working in this technique.

I also included additional ready to use patterns for fifteen more Faux Cloisonné heart pendants.

The third picture shows two random pages from the tutorial.

This tutorial will be available for download immediately after your payment.

In addition to polymer clay, you will also need some resin to complete this project. This resin is called EnviroTex Lite and is available in certain craft stores and on-line. For your convenience, I offer this resin as a trial-size kit in this shop. The amount of the resin in this kit is enough to complete the project described in this tutorials at least several times, provided that you mix the resin in quantities required for each application and follow the instructions given in my tutorial.
