This is a lovely Royal Haeger ceramic swordfish planter that was a fabulous flea market find. Perfect for your coastal home especially if you love fish or have anglers in your home.

This planter is a mauve and light blue swirl glaze pattern. It is in good vintage condition with only one minor chip along the bottom back edge (see last photo) and it may have been there since it was made.

The bottom of this planter is marked with Royal Haeger R271 USA. Haeger pottery was founded in 1871 by German immigrant David Haeger. In 1938 design genius Royal Hickman joined the company to introduce an extraordinary line of artware, called Royal Haeger. Hickman's work was daringly intricate with smooth, flowing lines and highly original glazes. This work is one of the results.

You could plant your favorite plant in this planter or fill it with sand or seashells, or leave it as is. Perfect for a mantle or bookshelf.

Coral NOT included. Convo if interested in coral also.
