These wood beach stone earrings were created from taupe color beach stones that were a great match for the wood beads I made from a tiny oak branch. The beautiful matte texture of the stones made a great partner to the beads. The end result was a pair of delightful, natural earrings.

The stones were collected from the shores of The Great Lakes in Michigan and plenty more are available at StoneMe.Etsy.com. The branch came from my own yard. I coated each bead with lacquer to protect the wood and give it a nice shine.

The stones and wood beads were suspended from gunmetal French hook earwires. They hang 1 3/4 in. (4.4cm) from the earwires.
